School Closed Thur., Jan. 30 & Fri., Jan. 31 Due to Illness

Couch R-I School District will be closed Thur., Jan. 30 & Fri., Jan. 31 due to staff and student illness. Students will return to school on Tues., Feb 4.

AMI Day 2 will be used for Thur., Jan. 30 and AMI Day 3 will be used for Fri., Jan. 31. Please bring all work to school on Tues., Feb. 4.

Sickness is hitting our district hard and we are hopeful this time off will allow everyone the time needed to stop the spread of illness and get to feeling better.

The elementary basketball games scheduled for Thur., Jan. 30 & Fri., Jan. 31 will be rescheduled for a later date.

Due to the inability to reschedule high school basketball games, the teams will continue to participate in the Big Springs Conference.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Snowmen

Kindergarten & 1st grade did a wonderful job following step by step instructions to learn how to draw a snowman & snowflakes. Each one turned out very unique and they did a great job listening and implementing the instructions that were given. They learned that while snowflakes in real life may be white, we can use cool colors, such as blue in our art.
