Congratulations!

Congratulations to Bradley Fabrizio (HS Boys) and Gabby Dubois (JH Girls) for winning the Koshkonong Halloween Hustle cross country races today. Other top finishers include Gavin Bumpus (2nd HS Boys), Brendan Kirk (7th HS Boys), Ryder Larson (2nd), Wesson Fabrizio (3rd) and Ty Crowder (4th) in the JH Boys race, and Ady Colins (2nd) and Ellie Crowder (3rd) in the JH Girls race. In the Elementary division, Jayden Mayberry placed 2nd overall and Kelsey Crowder placed 3rd.

2nd Annual Daddy/Daughter Dance

Couch FCCLA presents "Boots & Beauties" Sat., Nov. 2, 5-8 p.m. Dance is for parents with children enrolled in Pre-K through 8th grade. Purchase tickets at the Couch High School office, the Indian Country General Store, or at the Farmer's Daughter. Prices are $20 per couple and $10 for each additional attendee. Cost includes dinner and photos.

Art: Haunted High School (Updated)

The Haunted High School was a big hit Friday night! I'm so proud of all the hard work the art students have put in the past couple of weeks. We created biggest haunted house the school has ever had, which was held in the downstairs and upstairs of the high school building.

Come see us and get spooked by our students who have been creating a fun atmosphere in the hallways of Ole Couch High. Couch PTO is Looking for a Few Good Trunks

The Couch PTO is sponsoring their Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Thur., Oct. 31, 2024, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Couch School. This community service event will provide a safe environment for our young trick-or-treaters to enjoy Halloween and an opportunity for the community to unite in supporting our youth.

Vehicles will be placed in a row with the "trunks" raised and candy ready to hand out to our little trick-or-treaters. Trunks may be decorated and individuals may be in costume, but it is not a requirement to participate. Please remember that this is for children so please no scary, gory, or inappropriate costumes.

We will award a $50 cash prize to the Best Decorated Trunk.

Individuals, businesses and/or organization are welcome to participate! If you are interested in sponsoring a “trunk,” or making a donation please contact Amelia Crowder at Couch School at 417-938-4212.

"Pink Out" Night

Tonight is PINK OUT night! Come support our Lady Indians Volleyball team and support a great cause! We will be selling cupcakes and PINK DRINKS (loaded teas)! All proceeds will benefit the Mrs. Kathy Hopper Memorial Scholarship! We will also be passing a bucket. Mrs. Hopper was a teacher at Couch R-1 School, she was loved by many! Also, if someone wants to name a person to honor or in memory of for pink out night, you can list them here. There will be a prize for the BEST DRESSED IN PINK fan!
